About Linda
When I was 18 years old, I experienced the typical 18 year old challenges. Luckily, a dear friend handed me a book on self-image and suggested I spend some time with it. Little did she know that that simple act would influence the rest of my life. I went on to find whole new worlds open up to me through books. And they were worlds I’d neither seen nor heard of before.
Thus began my lifelong thirst for knowledge and my personal quest for information on living an inspired life. I loved to read autobiographies, finding inspiration in private and public acts of courage. My favorites were the creatives: artists, inventors, people who forged new territory in their given fields. I wondered what made some people able to reach such heights while some people were barely surviving and in the middle, there were the people who were just trying to make it through another day.
In college, I found the perfect arena for working out my own challenges. The practice of oil painting became literally the tableau where I found my courage and my trust in myself; where I conquered my fears and where I learned to express my love. All the while maintaining my quest to understand how it all works, this life weve been given.
When I discovered that someone had gone and made a career out of what I was spending most of my time with, I signed myself right up for training. Through the excellent The Coaches Training Institute based in California, I completed my courses and my certification. With this training, I have the tools I need to make the things I was reading about come to life.
We do all carry hidden treasure. We do all have innate gifts and talents. The quality of our life is determined by the extent to which we let those gifts shine.
